The duct running from your dryer to the outside wall slowly fills with lint that the trap never catches. A clogged duct traps hot, moist air — drying performance collapses, moisture feeds mold in the wall cavity, and accumulated lint becomes fuel: clogged dryer vents are among the most common causes of residential fires in Canada. The full duct run can only be cleared end-to-end with professional rotary brush and vacuum equipment. After service, airflow is restored and verified by measurement, drying times shorten, and the fire hazard is eliminated.
